From Dolgellau: Take the road opposite the Library signed Llanfachreth.
After 2 miles turn left at the car park for the Precipice walk signed Hermon.
Carry on for 2 miles with the river on your left heading for Hermon.
Turn left at the red phone box.
The Tea Gardens are 400 metres up the hill on the left.

From the CYB Visitor Centre: Turn left on the A470. Through the village of Ganllwyd and turn left to the Tyn-y-Groes picnic site. Over the bridge and bear right keeping to the tarmac road with the river on your right. After 3/4 of a mile turn left. Up through the forest for 2½ miles. We are on your left at the T junction.
